today is the first full day here and the award ceremony, I feel some nerves and some real nice feelings of happiness. I have never felt this way in my life. I am so happy to be here and be apart of this, I want to thank all that are here and back home in la that support me and I can say that if it wasn't for you I wouldn't be here thank you all for everything.

just got back to the room from the afternoon festvities. we listened to panelists who won awards for their programs or contributions talk about innovative ways to provide quality services to folks all over the country. one of the coolest was a new dating website: http://www.trueacceptance.com/ and they are interested in possibly advertising with us and vice versa. let me know what y'all think of the website. just went for another dip in the pool and now we're chillin in the room till the evening festivities get under way. awesome trip so far. -d

phew, what a night of shmoosing and smiling with people here from all over the country. we met artists and program innovators, clubhouse workers and lilly bigwigs. now we are prepping for an afternoon lunch and evening celebration. we have been talking to people about being presenters at next year's awards, we definitely have a unique voice and persepective to present here.

chillin in the deluxe 8th floor room with a view, considering a dip in the pool before the first lilly social event, a welcoming cocktail reception. lookout!

we are at the lilly reintegration awards its pretty nice, they set us up with a cool hotel with a nice view, flat screen Tv ,and 3 dollar m and m's . The award ceremony is tomorrow and I'm a lil nervous about what to expect and if I have to give a speech ,otherwise I 'm having a good time and I'm so happy to have the time and opportunity to be apart of this . Plus there is so much more to do.

me and marcus stopped off a mcd's to get fries and cokes. barely slept on the plane after an almost all nighter at the voice awards last night and i am beat. we got about thirty minutes till the next flight to indianapolis. dave is loopy but quiet with exhaustion. marcus is cool and collected as always. it's freakin' cold here but we don't have to go outside at all. watched the ice age movie with the dinosaurs. they were really reaching for some new plot ideas. feeling kind of sticky and wired even though i should be passed out. marcus is gonna post something in indianapolis.
